Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a collaborative and reflective process focused on helping you better understand yourself, address emotional or psychological concerns, and make meaningful changes in your life. Counseling offers a confidential space to slow down, gain clarity, and work through patterns that may be causing distress or limiting growth.

I provide individual counseling to adults (18 and over) seeking support with a wide range of concerns, including:
-
Relationships and intimacy
-
Stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm
-
Personal growth and self-understanding
-
Career dissatisfaction and life direction
-
Motivation, burnout, and time-related pressures
-
Health, aging, lifestyle changes, and self-care
-
Family and parenting challenges
-
Sexual identity and self-acceptance
-
Life transitions and change

Counseling is tailored to your unique history, goals, and emotional needs, and may draw on insight-oriented, relational, and practical approaches to support lasting change.

Couples Counseling
My approach to couples counseling is active, structured, and relationally focused. Sessions emphasize helping partners better understand one another, communicate more effectively, and address recurring patterns that create distance or conflict. I do not take sides; instead, I view the relationship itself as the client.

Couples counseling often includes guided conversations, practical exercises, and between-session reflections designed to strengthen connection and foster empathy.

I work with both opposite-sex and same-sex couples seeking support with issues such as:
-
Conflict resolution
-
Communication breakdowns
-
Sex and intimacy concerns
-
Navigating transitions and life changes
-
Reconciliation and repair
-
Recovering from infidelity or breaches of trust
-
Premarital concerns
-
Separation and divorce-related decisions

The goal of couples counseling is not simply to reduce conflict, but to help partners develop a deeper understanding of one another and decide—together—how they want to move forward.
